Jim Barriger "JIMBO" NEEDS OUR SUPPORT!

Donation protected
Jim started feeling sick around the 2nd week of November. He tested positive for Covid and became severely ill .
December 16th Jim fell and hit the back of his head on a vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to Saint John Macombe. The CT scan showed he had bleeding on his brain. Was then transferred to Providence Hospital Southfield, because they are Level II Trauma Center.
He was intubated and a procedure, for a drain  tube in his brain, was performed. He was kept in the ICU, heavily sedated and unable to open his eyes.
The nurses were making attempts to wean him off of the ventilator. Within the next week Jim started showing signs of improvement was able to be taken off the ventilator. He started to open his eyes, and move his hands and feet. He was then moved into a regular room.
Jim is improving daily. On January 8th he was  transferred to Pomeroy living skilled rehabilitation. He struggles with everyday tasks, confusion, safety issues, balance and some short term memory loss.
He is a kind, hard working, motivated guy. We are all praying for him to get through this. Jim is always there when someone needs his help. If you could be there for him now, he would definitely appreciate it. With the love and support of Leslie, Zach, family and friends. We will get him through this!

Keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers!
