If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It!

Thank you for taking the time to read Jillian's story!  We are Jillian's older <do we mean wiser here?  ~Jenelle> sisters, Juliette and Jenelle, and we would like to tell you some things about our little sister.  Jillian is 29 years old, which hardly seems possible  because as her *older* sisters we're only in our mid twenties!  Jillian is a kind, caring, loving human being and if she lets you into her heart, she'll always hold you close.  <bonus points if you can quote Disney movies at will! ~Jenelle>

We are a very close family, and while slightly surprised at the news of baby sister getting pregnant in 2007, it brought our family even closer with the addition of Andrew, her boyfriend <is this sequence of events correct?  ~Jenelle>.  Then, in June of 2008, Jillian gave birth to one of the greatest nieces in the history of nieces, Madison Grace Pare!


Jillian and Andrew tied the knot in 2012 and everyone who encounters them knows what a beautiful family they have created.  The love in their household is overwhelming and it shines through in the eyes of lil' Madi <don't forget Winston! ~Jenelle>.


As a brother-in-law, we couldn't have hit a better jackpot.  Andrew can fix all things mechanical, from light-up Barbies to full on grown up machinery, and he gives pretty good bear hugs <he can also single-handedly lift sofas in a single bound whenever one of us moves!  ~Jenelle>.  We adore him and are so blessed to have him in our lives.

We could go on and on about this amazing family, but never in our story did we think we'd have to say that after a recent doctor's visit to examine options for having another baby, our little sister found out that she has cervical cancer.  

The news was emotionally shattering - despite the positive outlook we have for Jillian's recovery, it tears us apart that she has to suffer at all. Our baby sister, and we couldn't protect her.  We are made of tough stuff, however, full of STRENGTH and LOVE, and know that we can support her, stand by her, and take this journey with her.  And as we are just starting to learn, this journey will not only be physically taxing but financially taxing as well... between the insurance gap and many expected trips into Boston for appointments, Jillian and Andrew are already crunching the numbers.

So, we are reaching out to our family and friends and asking for their help in sharing this story with their family and friends <and so on... and so on... and so on...>.  If just 500 people would donate $10, we could reach what is now an early goal as Jillian awaits the news of her treatment options.  A big thanks to everyone who has already shown so much emotional support... keep it coming!
