Jhenna was selected to participate in the "Friends for Life" Foundation Inc. Leadership Program. In partnership with Phi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, 30 young ladies from the Greater Atlanta area were selected based on academic performance, community and extracurricular achievements, and a competetive interview process.
As a part of the 9 month program, Jhenna and her colleagues are led through a series of events and workshops on topics such as etiquette, leadership skills, service projects, and social events. Additionally they will be soliciting donations and advertisement dollars. A portion of the funds she raises will be received directly by the College or University of her choice to help cover tuition. The top three fund-raisers will each receive an additional award amount.
The program will culminate with the phenomenal Biennial Alpha Pearls, "Strands of Elegance" Cotillion/Scholarship Ball to be held March 10, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Your gift is tax deductible and a gift receipt will be provided for your tax records.
No contribution is too small, but bigger is better!!
