Medical Bills for Jevon Boudreaux
In January, 2012, Jevon was diagnosed with Stage 1
Adenocarcinoma of the right lung. After reviewing his options, including holistic,
Jevon has elected to have a lobectomy, which has a high percentage success
rate. The surgery will result in removal of his upper right lobe and two ribs.
At this point, he will not require chemo or radiation. We are waiting on a
surgery date, but expect it will happen in the next few weeks. Jevon currently
works as a Health & Wellness Director at a YMCA in Washington State.
Gratefully, he has health insurance, but he will have at least $5,000 in
out-of-pocket expenses, and hospital/doctor bills are currently coming in. In
addition, he will be off work between four to six weeks to recover, and we
believe it will benefit his recovery if he has financial assistance to help
supplement his time-off without income.
