Jesse Mann Medical Living Expenses

Jesse Mann is a caring 36 year old attorney from Delaware, Ohio. He always took on cases in which people needed help but didn't have money, he cares for others. A few months ago he stopped practicing family law so he could study to help Christians in war zones who need asylum. Less than two weeks ago he underwent a 12 hour open heart surgery to save his life. He contracted an infection in his aortic valve that ballooned into a huge infected abscess. This spread to the graft that was placed on his aortic vessel in 2013. From there, the infection vastly grew over a year and infected his sternum. It then ate through his sternum bone, infecting the whole bone and creating a hole to the other side and started making it's way through the tissue and skin. As the surgery was finishing, the surgeons were unable to stop the bleeding and had to compress the bleeding inside his chest with a pad. After closing his chest, with the pad still there, they took him to ICU for 36 hours and then took him back into surgery to open his chest up again and remove the pad compressing the bleed. He was again taken to ICU until they were confident he was going to continue to remain stable. He is now in a regular hospital room, where he will remain for another few weeks. Since the infection penetrated his bone, he will need to remain on multiple, powerful, IV antibiotics for at least 6 weeks. This means when he is released from the hospital, he will continue IV antibiotics every few hours at home. We are a Christian family of faith, and God has protected Jesse throughout this time. The surgeons believed it was medically impossible for Jesse to live with that infection and make it to the hospital for the surgery (since he has had this infection over a year). Yet God took care of the unknown! During the surgery, they replaced Jesse's aortic valve and stem, and cleaned out the infection. We have a long road ahead of us. Neither of us are able to work at this time, and the medical and living expenses are enormous already. We are not people whom are used to asking for help, but it has become necessary to do so.
