Jess Fabs & Finn's Family fund

Hi, I'm Jess's mum, Lisa and recently Jess has been told she needs to have an operation because she has bowel cancer. The following post from our family facebook page pretty well sums it up

"Hi my beautiful family. I'm assuming you all have heard about what is going on with me at the moment . Unfortunately I have colon cancer but in the big scheme of things it could be worse . I had my appointment today to go through my treatment plan and as it stands now i will have surgery to remove my large bowel within the next few weeks and then it is also looking like chemo after wards but that also depends on how the surgery goes . The surgeons and doctors all seem positive that I will get through this is all with a bit of hard work and I am positive that I can aswell. I'm so lucky to have all of you guys as a support network and I think I'm really going to need you all around to get through this. ❤️"

As Jess & Fabs have a new baby, this is going to mean Fabs is going to have an extended time off work to look after Finn until Jess is again able to take care of things at home.  For a few weeks she won't even be able to pick him up.  Fabs had gone back for just one day after taking his long service leave to be with Jess for the first few weeks with their new baby. That was when they found out that all wasn't OK with Jess.

These guys have bought a little house in the country, so mortgage payments and living expenses have to come from somewhere until Fabs can get back to work.  There's no help available from Centrelink at this stage because usually Fabs earns reasonable money.

So after a couple of weeks of feeling helpless but being desperate to do something to help I heard about 'gofundme' and something clicked. One person can only do so much but if heaps of people do a little, so much can be achieved.

If the financial stress is taken away from the situation as soon as possible, I'm sure Jess will be much more able to be positive and concentrate on looking after herself, which is what she needs to do.  

I also believe in the power of love to heal and I know there are a lot of you out there like me who have heaps of love for these guys, and just aren't too sure what you can do to help.  So if you can just give a little to this cause, it doesn't have to be a lot,  I would be sooo grateful.
