Let's give Jennifer the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER and help set her up for 2015!
((But, shhhhhh....it is a secret!! So don't tell her!))
Let us tell you about our Aunt Jennifer (AJ). She is an amazing person with a big heart and a ready laugh. She gives the best hugs and backscratches. She loves ballet, cartoons, and belching contests. In other words: she is The Fun Aunt.
AJ loves us like her own children - all of her nieces and nephews, by blood and by marriage. She will do anything within her power for us any time we ask because we're her kids. And now is our chance to do everything we can for her.
Two years ago she suffered a stroke that has left her permanently disabled...though the government seems to disagree on that point. She has been battling since she left the hospital to qualify for Social Security Disability, thus far to no avail. She picks up the odd jobs that she is able to do for friends and family to make a little money, but it is not nearly enough to provide her even the basics of an independent life.
As young couples and families, we aren't able to provide as much financial support as we would like, but we know there are many people out there who love Jennifer as much as we do. And if we all join together, we could give quite an amazing collective gift!
Please consider donating a monetary gift (ANYTHING helps, even $5, and is very very very much appreciated) for Jennifer this year. We know many people give to charities this time of year, and this is an excellent alternative that would go to immediately helping a very deserving woman.
We also want to share any notes you leave with her at Christmas. So while donating anonymously is fine, we know that she would LOVE your well wishes this holiday season.
