Musician Jeff Beninato Heart Fund

This GoFundMe is for Jeff Beninato, a New Orleans musician & producer who has been diagnosed with heart failure. His heart is operating at 20 percent capacity, and cardiologists are working to get it stronger. This fund will help cover Jeff’s heart medications, copays, expenses and procedures while he fights to get his health back.
Background on Jeff: In the years following Hurricane Katrina, he co-founded the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund with his wife Karen and donated over half a million dollars in instruments, vehicles, housing and grants to help displaced musicians come home. He’s played bass with bands including the dB’s, and produced New Orleans musicians from Little Queenie to Twangorama. He works with indie label Three Cranes Productions, which released his marriage equality song "Love is Love” for It Gets Better.
