JAZZ IN PINK, the all-star ensemble of female musicians, singers, composers and entertainers is hosting its 10th Anniversary Celebration & Concert, “Women Making Music a Choice” on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at FBC/NoHo in North Hollywood CA to reach out to all women who are either seasoned or novice jazz entertainers and to raise the awareness of those women who are considering this rewarding field. This event will feature a panel discussion providing information and inspiration to all in attendance, networking opportunities, vendors and jam sessions. The evening culminates with the JAZZ IN PINK 10th Anniversary Concert!
JAZZ IN PINK projects talent, beauty, power and femininity as they embrace the stage. Our mission is to promote women in jazz by providing live performance opportunities showcasing each other’s music. We also endeavor to provide educational opportunities and mentorships to upcoming, rising stars, which is why the 10th Anniversary Celebration & Concert is special. JAZZ IN PINK’s 10th Anniversary Celebration & Concert will bring together seasoned and trailblazing women in the industry with the new, up and coming female artists, managers, engineers and members of the industry. To accomplish this, we need your help.
We appreciate all of the support from our fans and friends. Your contribution will help in the production of this event by offsetting some of the funding for the venue, lighting, sound, backline, set design, panelists, food, flights, lodging, merchandise and promotion. Your contributions will also help is the production of upcoming workshops planned which will be informative and entertaining, in an effort to continue to educate, empower and uplift women, who have already chosen or those women who are considering making music a choice - a life choice, a career choice! This 10th Anniversary Celebration is not only to celebrate what we have accomplished, but it will also serve as the launch for future conferences/workshops to continue the work and mission of JAZZ IN PINK.
All women in or interested in the music industry are encouraged to attend the event. The concert is open to the public. There are limited seats available for each segment of the event.
This inaugural event will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, at FBC/NoHo, 11210 Otsego Street, North Hollywood, California.
