Benefit for Jayne Osmanski
This past summer Jayne
Osmanski from East Aurora was diagnosed with liver failure, due to autoimmune
hepatitis, and is in need of a liver
transplant.
Jayne, a mother, wife, and teacher in the Frontier Central School District, has been forced to take an indefinite leave of absence from her position. She has had extended stays at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic, which have afforded her the opportunity to be on liver transplant lists in both New York and Ohio. This has put a tremendous financial hardship on the Osmanski family. However, this is only the beginning of their journey; after a successful surgery Jayne will need to remain in the Cleveland area, requiring extensive post-operative care.
All proceeds raised will be used to ease some of the financial hardship the Osmanski family will be faced with during pre and post-operative care, such as hospital stays, follow up treatments, and a lifetime of medications.
