Funeral for Jayce Standard

Our beloved Jayce passed away suddenly on December 1, 2021 from a car accident. Jayce was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many people throughout his hometown and the transgender community. He touched the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind the love of his life, Summer, their fur-babies and his beloved family.
Jayce dedicated his life to helping others in any way that he could. He accomplished so many goals including earning his G.E.D and continuing on to Sauk Valley Community College where he was enrolled to start his dream of becoming a counselor. Jayce enjoyed painting, fishing, and caring for children. He had a very big heart full of endless love to share and did so freely.
We are all devastated by Jayce’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Jayce the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
I am currently asking for donations to help our parents cover the cost of Jayce’s funeral, and final expenses. Jayce did not have life insurance to help cover the costs. No one expects to lose their life at the age of 27 years old.
Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 from 5-7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with a brief service at 7 PM. Once the obituary is posted, please feel free to visit the funeral home website where you can share memories and pictures, sign the memory book, or light a candle in Jayce's memory.
