Financial aid for cancer dog

Donation protected
Jax's amputation was on March 27, 2018. It cost a total of $17,000 and required extensive recovery time. I am asking for help because I've done everything I can to save my dog and give him a second chance at life, while working and going to school full-time. Being in school and working at the age of 21, all while taking care of a newly amputated puppy has been hard. I've had to change his diet to maintain his health which has been costing me over $200 a month. (It's an all human food, cooked diet).

Jax's surgery was a hemipelvectomy-- a semi-pelvic removal-- to remove a tumor the size of a softball from the right side of his pelvic bone. I cannot afford radiation, let alone any future oncology appointments. It's been over six months, and we've yet to get him any recents scans to ensure the cancer is no longer lingering in his body. His surgeon claims to have removed the entirety of the tumor and recommended upcoming visits that I haven't been able to pay for. After Jax's surgery, there was also a complication that led him to have two blood transfusions and exploratory surgery after being out of the hospital for two weeks. That cost another $5,000 on top of the original bill.

I have been paying approximately $500 a month to pay off Jax's medical bills, and I have very little to spend on food, school supplies or gas. I am asking for help so that I can survive on a daily basis and so that I can get Jax the necessary testing and scans he needs to ensure he's 100% healthy.

I've had Jax since he was 8 weeks old and through losing family, close friends and my sanity, he's been the rock in my life that has held everything down. I want to be able to get him the proper care he needs without resorting to dropping out of school, or-- God forbid-- have to find him a foster and funding from a rescue. He is only 4 years old so living without his fourth leg has been a breeze, he's already forgotten that something is different about him now. Please help the both of us so that we can continue to live out of the dark!

Below are photos of his initial x-rays and photos of his tumor.

In this photo you can see where the tumor is deteriorating the bone
