Help Jason go to Interlochen!

Hi everybody! My name is Jason Huang and I play the bassoon! I hope to pursue a career in music performance and am currently looking for opportunities to get me to the next level.

I have performed in the Lone Star Youth Winds, the GDYO (Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra) Wind Symphony, as well as the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. Additionally, I have had the honor of being a Texas All-State musician and a 1st place performer in Texas Music Teachers Association piano competitions. I have also worked in masterclasses with the principal bassoonist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and currently take lessons from the ex-principal of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and founder of bassoon company, BocalMajority.

I recently auditioned for the prestigious Interlochen Arts Camp and was accepted into their orchestra program. Interlochen has graciously given me financial aid; however, due to my family's financial situation, I am not able to pay the full tuition. I'm starting this GoFundMe in hopes of being able to raise enough money to pay the rest of my tuition so that I can attend this camp. This camp would be a memorable experience for me and would definitely be a step in the direction of pursuing my dreams. If I raised the funds to pay for my tuition, I would have the opportunity to spend 6 weeks in Michigan working with renowned conductors and performing 6 concerts of amazing repertoire.
