Jacob's Retinoblastoma Fight

This is my 15 month old grandson Jacob. Thinking he just had a lazy eye, eye doctor determined malignant retinoblastoma which had detached his retina. Immediately went to Will's Eye Center and Jefferson Hospital (whose staffs have been excellent!) and has started monthly chemo treatments which go through an artery in his hip up to the artery behind his eye. Very optimistic and very costly. While my son and future daughter-in-law (Oct. 2015) have insurance there are many other expenditures and the portion not covered. Also, please be aware of this condition and spread the awareness- early detection is key! When you look at pictures, if one eye shows red and the other none or a white spot- HAVE IT CHECKED!
