Ivy Rainbow

Ivy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on Thursday 8th of October.
She's currently in John Hunter Hospital and has started Chemotherapy. She will hopefully be home on the 17th, but will continue Chemo for just over 2 years.  
She had a central line/port put in as of 12th of October, this will make the chemo easier.
Due to the risk of infection, Ivy will need to be in isolation for the next little while. She wont be able to go to preschool like she had previously, she also wont be able to go shopping at her favourite shops Kmart and Bunnings. While this fundraising will also help Nicole and Jeff with the expenses of travelling to and from doctors appointments, it may also give Ivy the opportunity to possibly have one on one things set up like Dance Lessons, etc, that she wouldn't be able to do in a group due to the risk. 

Red Kite, Central Coast Care for Kids and Ronald McDonald House has been beyond amazing for support, so do all you can to support them as well.

Couple of things:

Under Promise, Over Deliver is the name of the game, so while i have set the aim only at $20,000, Ivy has loads of people who are there to support her, so lets aim higher than that.

While most donation types are tax deductable, as you are giving to a person not a company, unless you have a very special accountant, this isn't. Don't let that stop you though.

NB: this will be going into a bank account for Ivy, just in case anyone is wondering.
