Ivy needs your help to fix her leg

Ivy, my Chocolate Labrador Pit Bull mix recently ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament while playing with her big brother Jax (black dog in pics). It's the tendon that holds her knee in place and allows her to walk.
Ivy is roughly 2 years old and this unfortunate event has left my wife and I in an unexpected situation.
Her recovery after surgery won't be an easy one. She has to sit in a crate most of the day for 8 weeks to allow her leg to properly heal.
The Veterinarian said that surgery is the only option. The surgery, blood work, X-rays, kennel, and therapy will cost $5,000. We are a very active family and take our dogs nearly everywhere as you can see.
My wife and I don't have the heart to let her go, especially her being so young and having so many hikes, runs, and wrestle matches still left in her. (Her favorite wrestle partner is her big brother Jax of course)
I should probably mention how Ivy joined our growing family. I found Ivy walking along a highway near my neighborhood almost 2year ago. (Below shows her getting a bath the first day I found her)
Jax was really happy to have a new sister as you can see.
She had a collar on, but no name tag or microchip. My wife and I made paper flyers, posted on Facebook, craigslist, and contacted various animal associations just in case someone reported her being lost.
We decided to keep her after about a month of no one wanting to claim her. We soon realized that we fell in love with this little unexpected gift. She has filled a void in our house that we never knew to be empty. Jax has fallen in love with her just as well.
It breaks my heart to know that not getting this surgery means that she will never get to run through the woods, beach or swim in the lake ever again.
Please help our little Ivy girl have the fullest life possible. Any little bit will help. It would mean the world to us and we would greatly appreciate your gratitude.
