Thank you for visiting our page. Isabelle was born 6 weeks premature with Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) and a VSD (hole) in her heart. Along with other complications but the main one is the VSD. The VSD is considered moderate-severe and will have to be repaired at some point soon. Isabelle is currently 7 weeks old and is still in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) due to this. All she has known is the life in the NICU.
We are currently awaiting the decision to repair the hole now or allowing her to grow a little more before the repair.
Due to her medical needs and the fact that daddy is stationed in Wichita Falls (2 hours away). This time has been a bit difficult financially. With dad having to travel back and forth to attend to the needs of our older children and maintain the household and everyday things while mommy stays in Ft. Worth to be with Isabelle for daily care and medical decisions.
I have been blessed to be allowed to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in order to be closer to her.
We are so grateful for the prayers and love that you all have shown us.
Our friends and family have been asking how they can help and we started this GoFundMe page to create an avenue for those that desire to not only support our family emotionally in this difficult time but also Isabelle's future medical journey.
