#Isaac and Lisa Strong!

**UPDATE/NOVEMBER 2019**

Last January 2018 when this page was created Isaac had just been diagnosed with tonsil cancer and spent the rest of 2018 waging a heroic effort to beat cancer.  In June the news from the CT scan was promising as it appeared that Isaac had finally won this long hard fight; however, August's CT scan showed that the cancer was back and this time with a vengeance. Surgery is Isaac's only option and it is a very extensive 8-12 hour surgery that will take place this month in Indianapolis and will entail intense reconstruction surgery to the neck/jaw and a very long recuperation period.  The doctor's put Isaac's chances at 50/50 and in true Isaac form, Isaac is ready to FIGHT THIS FIGHT and beat this cancer.  Isaac rightfully views his chances as "good" because 50/50 coincides with his "glass is half full" view of life which has served Isaac well in overcoming all of life's obstacles. Anyone who knows Isaac is not surprised by this attitude.

Life however was not through throwing punches.  Isaac's beautiful fiancee Lisa was diagnosed in July with the most aggressive form of breast cancer.  Lisa is currently going thru chemo treatments to be followed up with radiation and surgery.  Lisa's is rocking it and her prognosis is extremely promising. 

If you are a friend or family member you have witnessed Isaac and Lisa's handle their cancer battle with such grace, strength, faith and determination.  Isaac and Lisa are truly an amazing couple and are loved and adored by so many people. 

It was in that spirit of that love that this Go Fund Me page was originally created as Isaac's first battle with cancer was going to keep him from working for a number of months and in Isaac's line of work as a bartender there are no sick days or long term disability benefits.  Now Isaac is facing an even tougher battle and a much, much longer recovery period; hence, this update. 

Please consider supporting Isaac and his family through this very, very difficult time.  All monies raised through this page will help pay their medical bills etc. Both Isaac and Lisa are ready to FIGHT THE FIGHT and get their "…and they lived happily ever after" ending!
