Irene Fights Thyroid Cancer

Our friend, Irene, continues her brave battle against Thyroid Cancer after receiving her diagnosis one year ago.   She courageously underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and affected lymph nodes in May 2017, all while growing her 3rd tiny babe inside.   Irene and Eric just got home from Denver where she had her first follow up scan since Baby Zoë was born in October.   Her scan on March 5th showed a new cluster of lymph nodes that have changed and grown since July.   Irene's doctors have expressed the need for a biopsy to be done in Denver very soon with the possibility of another surgery in the future.  She and her team are still trying to determine when she will need to start Radioactive Iodine Treatment as well.   

We want to rally around the Durante Family to help offset the unexpected expenses that go hand in hand with traveling to Denver for appointments and upcoming treatment.   As always, this family covets your prayers in their journey.
