In Memory Of Christin DeGraff

Christin DeGraff was a loving wife to her husband, Adam, and mother to Edward, age 10, and Evelyn, age 7. Christin also loved animals and any time not spent caring for her family was devoted to animal welfare. She volunteered countless hours for local animal rescue organizations over her brief life. Within the last month, Christin started a new job with a local veterinary clinic and less than a week ago, Evelyn accompanied her to her job to learn more about veterinary medicine.

Christin was so excited to be working in a veterinary clinic with people who shared her love of animals. But, just as importantly, the family desperately needed the income from her job and getting hired couldn’t have come at a better time.

Christin’s unexpected death at the young age of 34 on Friday, May 29, shocked her family and friends who loved the cheerful, funny, caring young woman. As her husband and children struggle to comprehend the loss of the central figure in their lives, existing financial challenges make paying for Christin’s funeral a tremendous burden.

This GoFundMe campaign seeks to cover the costs of Christin’s funeral to honor her memory and help ease the crushing financial challenges her family faces as well as show support to her husband and children during this time of great loss.

Any donation amount is appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Any funds raised beyond the funeral costs will go toward Edward and Evelyn’s school-related expenses and to make a donation to the animal rescue organization that can help us rehome Christin’s beloved pets (details to be determined, the pets are currently being well cared for, but the family cannot afford to keep them).
