Hope for Harrison

We have set up this page for an amazing and brave little boy. Harrison is 5 years old and has visited doctors and hospitals for a whole year with no clear explanation for his poor health. However he carried on his normal days and never let being poorly keep him down, he always kept his cheeky smile.
Harrison is adored by many, but his number one fans are his amazing parents Pete and Claire. They worship their little boy and work exceptionally hard to ensure Harrison has the best in life. They lived a perfect happy life. Then on the second of December their little world came crumbling down when they were told their son had cancer. After many tests and biopsies Harrison was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer, still he has his smile. This is not something that is going to beat them as a family, however it is not going to be an easy journey for them. He is currently receiving treatment at The Great North children’s hospital in Newcastle. We would like to give something back to Harrison’s ward, to show our appreciation for the fantastic treatment he is receiving but also for the amazing support they are giving to Pete and Claire.
So on the 26th of December we will be braving the cold and participating in a Boxing Day dip at Seaburn beach. We will be dressed as mutant ninja turtles as these are personal favourites of Harrison’s. Any donations will be greatly appreciated, for this fantastic cause. 20% of the raised moeny is taken by the organisers of the dip (Lions Club of Sunderand), the rest will be going directly to The Great North hospital, ward 4. A cheque will be given to them after the dip. Thank you in advance and feel free come down and support us on the day. Hope for Harrison x
