Hope for Jaime
Imagine that one day, you wake up and find that your teeth
have started to crumble. Piece by piece, each tooth is breaking down and no amount of brushing, flossing, or dental work can
help it. What's left of your teeth sends
mind-numbing pain through your skull and starts to abscess, exposing you to
constant infection. Now imagine that the
solution is only $2000 out of your grasp.
Jaime deals with constant infections, excruciating pain, and the embarrassment and frustration of having to live her life with a mouthful of decomposing teeth. She can hardly eat, she is too ashamed of how she looks to leave her house, and she is slipping further and further into a very understandable depression. She worries about the effect this has on her son. Her medical/dental insurance covers all but $2000 of the procedure she needs to pull all of her remaining teeth and get dentures made. Just two thousand dollars stand between my friend and her freedom from the pain and depression this has caused. She has been saving up for this procedure for years, but every time she gets close, a family necessity arises and she is forced to use that money and start saving all over again.
I am hoping that, out of the kindness of their hearts, people who know and love Jaime and even kind strangers who don't, can make this happen. $2000 is not that much, but it would mean so much to Jaime and her family.
Please consider donating what you can. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much.
