Home For Christmas

We received our third denial letter from the insurance company today and with whatever the government decides to give us still months away we've hit a wall. Asking for help is the last thing I would ever want to do but even with Matt working as hard as he is there is no light at the end of the tunnel. We were victims of a natural disaster, our home is destroyed up to 4' on the main floor and we've lost 3/4 of our belongings. This wasn't foreseeable we live nowhere near a floodplain. I have donated on this webpage when friends have requested sponsoring for different causes so while I lay wide awake again last night worrying I thought of this page. There have been so many amazing friends say "let me know how I can help", so I'm swallowing my pride and saying "this is how". Every donation helps, even $25 covers over 5sq" of flooring. The list is so long, windows, doors, flooring, walls, furnace and ducting, plumbing, electrical supplies, appliances, furniture, inspections, air scrubbers, cleaners...... and it is all so expensive. We are going deeper into debt every day and with the looming possibility of our mortgage company reassessing our home we need to stay above water as much as possible. This page requests a goal amount I had no idea what to put.
