Send Hogz Gone Wild to American Royal

With our Grand Championship at the Atlanta BBQ Festival, Hogz Gone Wild BBQ Team has been invited to participate in the 27th Annual American Royal World Series of BBQ Invitational Contest on October 4-6th, 2014. We are looking to raise $3400 in donations and sponsorships to cover our cost of the travel, entry fees, and competition supplies for the competition.
The American Royal World Series of BBQ is one of the largest BBQ competitions in the world, lasting over 3 days, and drawing over 500 BBQ teams and over 70,000 spectators each year to Kansas City. Teams compete in two separate competitions over the three day period, the Invitational contest and the Open contest. Teams who have won a qualifying competition in the previous year are invited to participate in a 4 meat competition on Friday and Saturday, followed by the Open competition on Saturday and Sunday, which allows any and all BBQ competitors from around the world to compete head to head for the Grand Champion prize.
Being a relatively small, self-funded team from Villa Rica, GA, Hogz Gone Wild is looking for both corporate sponsorships and individual donations to help us compete agains the best of the best in this 3 day event. As a token of our appreciation, we will raise a banner at the American Royal with a list of each person or business who donated.
In the event that we are unable to raise enough funds, or we are unable to attend the event, we will donate all raised funds to Operation BBQ Relief (http://www.operationbbqrelief.org) a 501.3c Non-Profit organization who provides BBQ and other food items to disaster stricken areas.
