Let's help the Rodriguez Family
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, friends of family and family of friends,
Some
of you may have heard the terrible story of how one of our night shift
co-workers at Mercy Hospital, who recently graduated as a respiratory therapist, was severely burned at home in an oil fire just a few days
after Christmas. You might be able to imagine how stressful this has
been on him and his family. Hiram was sent to Boston to receive the
best care possible which really put a strain on their financial situation and an even bigger dent in their savings.
Please join us, as we come together to help raise funds to benefit this family. The funds raised will help contribute to their daily cost of living while Hiram remains out of work during his healing process. He is doing very well but continues to have a long road of physical therapy and wound care ahead of him. We all know how difficult keeping up with the cost of daily living is and our friends really could use some help.
This family has 2 children both who have been doing great through this whole ordeal. Because Hiram recently took a job as a respiratory therapist his benefits are limited. During this time, his wife Cherie, who also works as a respiratory therapist, has used up all of her available time off to be at his side. As Hiram continues to heal, Cherie (his wife) has taken on the burden of full financial responsibility, transporting Hiram to and from therapy and wound care, as well as his occasional trips to Boston to see his surgeon. She will be a full-time taxi for their children, going to and from school, after school programs and being involved their extracurricular activities.
As Hiram continues journey towards recovery, we hope to help make things a little easier. I am certain that finances are tight all around but any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this story and offering whatever help you may be able to provide.
