Help Jenny beat cancer

Hi all,
Thank you for visiting my gofundme Page.

Unfortunately, my treatment options are now coming to an end. The cancer is becoming aggressive, unresponsive and difficult to treat.

Here is a little about me!

I'm Jenny Gaunt, 50 years young from Nottinghamshire.

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Incurable Secondary Breast Cancer in October 2015 just a month after my onitional diagnosis.
My breast cancer spread to my Bones in October 2015 and in May 2017 my cancer spread again. Unfortunately, my cancer is starting to become more aggressive and difficult to treat

I have loving husband and 2 beautiful daughters, aged 21 and 15.
In October 2015 I started Chemotherapy and to this day I have been on Chemotherapy or targeted therapies every 3 weeks and monthly bone injections, as well as over 30 treatments of radiotherapy.
Chemotherapies made me poorly, but I was lucky enough to return to my beloved job as a HR manager in February 2016. At first, my treatment was doing a good job at suppressing my cancer and I enjoyed working, family holidays and even a surprise wedding vow renewal for my 50th birthday! However in May 2017 I fell very unwell and spent a week in hospital, it was then that we were given the heartbreaking news that my cancer had spread further.

It is here where I need your help, my treatment options in the UK are sadly coming to an end.

After a consultation with an expert in Derbyshire she advised us about the Hallwang Clinic in Germany and advised us this was one of the best clinics in the world offering the latest integrated medicine along with alternative treatments. I came away from this meeting full of hope, wanting nothing more than to see my beautiful girls grow up, we started funding raising for this treatment straight away.

By the end August 2017 I hope to fly to Germany and have a consultation with a doctor from the Hallwang Clinic, with the aim of starting treatment in September 2017. The approximate cost of the treatment for the year will be in the region of £250,000. As you can see it is an enormous amount of money but the Hallwang Clinic offers a more scientific medical treatment plan, these treatments are not available here in the UK or on the NHS due to NICE guidelines.

There are many testimonies of people getting their secondary cancer into ‘remission’ a word that fills me with hope. They have patients at the clinic with secondary breast cancer who have had incredible and unbelievable response to Immunotherapy.

Obviously this means we have a lot of funding to do to give us a fighting chance of getting to Germany and securing the treatment plan that the Hallwang Clinic offers.

Please please please can everyone continue to support, fundraise, donate and share Facebook posts so I can proceed with this treatment.

I hope to give regular updates regarding my health, treatment and thoughts. Which I hope to be useful and inform you all of this journey that I am on.

On Monday I watched, with my husband, as my youngest daughter Megan collect an award at school for outstanding achievements, which bought a tear to my eye. My eldest daughter Amy has recently bought her first house so we have been picking out colours ready for redecoration.
As a Mummy I couldn’t be prouder.

Please donate what you can; this is life saving treatment for me and my family.

My Facebook page is Help Jenny Beat Cancer, this is where I will be posting updates of how I am getting on. https://www.facebook.com/helpjennybeatcancer/

Lots of Love,

Jenny
