Help Carson Hurley Get Well
Donation protected
This is my little buddy with a huge heart,
Carson. He is very special to me. I love Carson like one of my own sons.
I had the awesome privilege of being his private nurse for a few months
last year until he didn't have private nursing anymore, and we will be
life long friends. His single Mom is amazing and has been taking care of
him since day 1 alone outside of family support. Years of sleepless
nights and days that turn into weeks,
that turn into months, and specialist upon specialist, hospital stay
after hospital stay over the years. As you can see in this picture his
spirit is unquenchable! I know Stephanie could write a book about what
they've been through, but despite their own struggles, she has a
servants heart. When Khrystian was critically ill himself this year,
Stephanie Hurley made that pray for the Crow's page here on Facebook and
got the funding acct set up for donations on PayPal. She came and
visited us at the hospital within an hour of Khrystian coding, and
brought us toiletries and all the little creature comfort things you
don't think of when you're living in the hospital. I got the call
yesterday that Carson was in the E.R. and it's been a long while for
him, 7 months since he's had to be there. He was crying and unable to
walk because his legs hurt so bad. Of all his medical problems this is
not normal for him. His white blood cell count was very high, but x ray
was negative on his legs. They kept him over night though wisely and
gave him pain relief, and did and MRI today. Tragically it showed
something on his spine/spinal cord. He's being transferred by ambulance
in this pic to big Children's in Dallas from Children's in Plano.
Painful procedures such as biopsy are ahead to determine if it's cancer
and if so, what kind and treatment plan. I am asking all of my friends
and family to lift up Carson Hurley in your prayers please for the
greatest of miracles, and strength and comfort for Mom, just as
Stephanie asked for us. Please show your love and support anyway you can
to this wonderful child and his loving Mother. It's hard enough to have
a chronically ill child when you have a partner to go through it with, I
can't imagine going through things alone as Stephanie has these years.
Let's lift them up so she doesn't feel alone going through this this
time. I will update as I can and it becomes available. Please share this
page with your friends and church's so that we may lift them up
together. Thank You! - Josh Crow
