Totally Local VC Rebuilds the 805

The Thomas Fire has ripped through Ventura County, taking with it nearly 100,000 acres as of this post. Included in that was the Wicked Wire Ranch, home to Totally Local VC and founder of the non-profit organization, Kat Merrick. A family friend initially started this GoFundMe to help the Merrick family during this time of need after we lost everything in the fire. However, we've decided to pivot. Our story is not the only one to be told. Thousands of families in Ventura County are going through the same thing right now. As the fires continue to burn, more homes will be lost and more families will be in need of assistance. So we're recreating this GoFundMe with the hope of getting the necessary funding to get Totally Local VC back on its feet and help any and every family we can. For that we need your help. Every dollar raised in this campaign will go toward helping Totally Local VC rebuild and give back to those who have been impacted by this horrible event. Anything helps no matter how small it may seem.
