Jenna's Thailand Missions Trip

I'm excited to announce I am going on my first international Mission's Trip to Thailand in December with Foothill Church in Glendora! I will be working with my team in an all girls orphanage called "Breanna's House of Joy." This orphanage has been a blessing to these girls because they are now receiving an education, which is a ticket to success for women in Thailand. Without an education, women are forced into the ever-growing sex traffic industry, or into a lifestyle of drug and alcohol abuse.
We will also be working in the surrounding villages that are impoverished areas in the mountains about 2 hours from the city of Chiang Mai. We are working on building relationships with the Pastors and Chiefs of the villages in order to bridge a gap between the negative stereotypes of Christians that they have come into contact with. Finally, we will be working with a Buddhist School that needs assistance in many areas.
This is, by far, the greatest and most courageous proclamation of my faith, and I'm so excited to see what God has in store for me, my team and the great people of Thailand.
I would like to ask you to support me in the most important way by prayer. We need to prepare ourselves spiritually before we enter Thailand in order to be ready for what God would have us do there. Also, each team member needs to raise $2600 in order to go on the trip. If you would like to be a part of this journey with me though not only prayer, but also by helping me get there financially, that would be greatly appreciated!
