Atlantis Clinical Fellowship
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for taking the time out to read my story!
My name is Tajera McPherson and I attend Brooklyn College where I major in Biology and minor in Biochemistry. My greatest aspiration is to become a sports medicine doctor, more specifically an orthopedic surgeon. Sports Medicine would allow me to bring together my two passions which are coaching gymnastics and helping people.
The Atlantis Clinical Observation Fellowship is a competitive physician shadowing program and I have been granted the oppurtunity to travel to Europe and shadow doctors in my aspiring field and many other fields this summer for 3 weeks. This outstanding oppurtunity is very costly and unfortunately with my savings I am going to need help. My goal is to raise $5,000 which would cover my tuition, housing, and my travel expenses. Although, the fellowship is not until June 2018, I have to fund my trip by April 2018.
If you are able to donate, whether big or small, I am sincerely grateful for your generosity. But regardless of your donation, I appreciate that you took the time to read this all the way to the end. With your help, I will be able to broaden my experience in the medical field and take huge step to achieving my career goals. Thank you and I look forward to sharing my experience with you this summer.
