On August 25, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas bringing record amounts of rain and strong winds that caused widespread flooding and damage. On September 10, just two weeks later, Hurricane Irma landed in Florida. Both of these hurricanes have left the southeastern United States, from Texas through the Carolinas, severely damaged. Pine Environmental team members live and work across all of the affected states.
Some of our Pine Environmental team members have experienced extensive loss and damage from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Pine colleagues are asking how they can help, so we have set up this Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds for Pine team members who have experienced a loss as a result of one of the storms. Donations are voluntary.
Our goal is to collect $5,000 to distribute to our team members. In the event that we have funds exceeding Pine employee needs, all remaining funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross on behalf of our team members.
We (the Pine Environmental Leadership Team) will review employee requests for aid and then facilitate the process for disbursements to Pine team members who will be helped by this fund.
