Support Noreen against Leukemia!!

Donation protected
Noreen is 28 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia(AML). "Noreen has everything to live for", a single mother with two beautiful children, Jeyleann Marie (8) and Jovan Omar (9), and family and friends that love her. During the last week of July 2014, Noreen felt flu like symptoms that included sore throat. On August 1st, she went to the Memorial Hospital seeking health care, but on the 3rd she noticed that the symptoms had worsened. After she returned to the hospital, several tests indicated that (AML) had developed and she needed Chemotherapy to start the fight for her life. Noreen endured the side effects of Chemotherapy and the complications involved with the treatment. On August 24, after all the resources were exhausted and still her body was not responding to treatment, Dr. Mignone, the Oncologist in charge of her care at the Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. decided that she needed care at a Cancer Center rather than at a General Hospital. Her financial resources are limited and the next option was the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, Noreen was recently employed by Tax Defense Network, and her health insurance is limited and she does not qualify for short term disability. At this point, Noreen's immune system is depleted and had no defense to combat bacteria or any other possible complications. Family members arranged for her transfer and arrived on August 26, 2014, to the University of Florida Shands, Cancer Center in Gainesville, Fl. as the nearest option. The maternal grandparents are caring for the children's needs and school attendance. Noreen is blessed by having many people praying and supporting her through this process alone because the children's father decease in 2012. Upon arrival the Shands Cancer Center, Dr. Moreb treated her with a new approach that includes an aggressive Chemotherapy treatment, platelets, antibiotics and a balanced diet to nourish her body. The Dr.'s plan is to combat the immature cells that cause the Leukemia, once on remission, Noreen will undergo a Stem Cell transplant. This procedure is done by matching donors willing to give part of their lives by means of Bone Marrow transplant. Her recovery is dependent of her body accepting the transplant. Following the stem cell transplant, Dr. Moreb included an extensive and costly after care that requires her to return to the hospital for periodic treatment and Bone Marrow biopsies. The most important part is Noreen's attitude and acceptance of her condition. She knows that she is blessed and that the Lord is keeping his promise so she can continue her devotion to her kids development. Exodus 23: 25-26 you shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and will take your sickness away from among you. Her immediate family is reaching out to everyone to cooperate with the current medical cost and the ones forth coming for after care. We encourage everyone to join and assist Noreen during this difficult and unexpected process.
