Diving with Whale Sharks

Will you please help me to fulfill a lifelong dream to swim with the largest fish in the world?
Diving gives me the feeling of freedom and an opportunity to be just like everyone else. I can forget that I have a disability and enjoy being part of a world an amazing underwater world. I began snorkeling at age 10 and loved the beach and being one with the ocean. I lost my ability to walk and soon beach visits became something that was just too hard to do physically. Then in 2004, I learned to SCUBA dive, and my love of the ocean was restored. I discovered Ningaloo reef and the whalesharks and remembered my childhood dream.
As I have aged, my body has gone into severe decline. In 2013, I got so sick and though I tried so hard to get back to work, I was unable to, and so had to retire. Any hope of adventure and holidays gone. You probably don't know, but to my shame, I struggle to support myself on my small pension and disability support. My health is also declining, a simple infection before Christmas put me in hospital and in ICU. An minor slip and I now have 2 broken bones in my leg. If I don't go soon, I will be physically unable to, as I can no longer trust my body to keep going.
A dear friend has offered me the opportunity in May, to go to W.A. and dive with the Whale Sharks. The only way I can do this is with your financial support. Will you please help me to have a holiday and to tick off the No 1 on my bucket list?
I would be so grateful to once more be able to do something that leaves me feeling both connected to the world and equal with those around me.
