Cancer Survivors Help Foundation is now officially
launching! We are still working on the websites,
and waiting for our 501(C)3 certificate from the IRS,
but it's time to get started!
This foundation is being set up to help those of us
like myself, cancer survivors that are still battling
the 'aftermath' of the treatments. Whether it was
Chemo, radiation, surgery, or a combination, those
of us that went through it all know that damage is
done to our bodies, in various degrees.
Some people 'fall between the cracks', and end up
with medical bills, little or no insurance, and still
have ongoing medical issues. I am hoping to fill
some of that gap, through financial assistance, and
also through facilitating services and links through
the foundation. I already have several medical
professionals onboard with free/reduced services
available, and will continue to recruit more as we
go along.
I will also be pursuing Corporate sponsorships, as this
can be significant when any of them step up.
