Help the Jones Family
Note: This campaign was started on behalf of Mark Jones, by friends of Courtney Jones. All proceeds will go directly to Courtney's family.

Back in August 2012, Courtney was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, at just 28 years old. This young mother of 4 was dealt a final blow this week in learning that the cancer has metastasized to her brain and spinal fluid.
With Courtney being moved into hospice care, her family is left with the devasting reality that they will have to face their life without her. Mark, her husband, will be a widow, with 4 children under age 10.
Courtney's story is so much mroe than a hard-fought battle with cancer. It is a story of love and sacrifice. Back in the early part of this year, she was due to undergo an implant exchange operation and a hysterectomy in order to stem the spread of her cancer. Instead, she found out she was pregnant. Thus, all the aggressive treatments to fight the disease were put on hold, so that she could afford her baby the best possible environment to grow and develop.
During the course of her pregnancy, it became clear that the cancer was not isolated to the breast, which was deemed cancer free. Before she found out she was pregnant, there were spots in her pelvic area. It turned out that her cancer had metastasized to the bones. After a biopsy, her cancer had elevated to Stage IV. Courtney sacrificed her own well being for the well-being of her child growing in her womb.
Now, that baby and his brothers and sister and their daddy can use all the help they can get. Childcare will be a big issue, as well as funerary expenses, not to mention the holidays coming up.
