Help Carl Hear!

My name is Jania, and I am the daughter of a man that is completely and legally deaf. Since birth, my father has gone without hearing things we take for granted every single day. The voice of your parents, the sounds of nature, or the sound of a piano. Even though my dad is deaf, not once has that ever stopped his love for music or life. He's even had his own record back before I was born. Thanks to him having hearing aids, my dad was able to continue with his love for music, and playing the piano. But without hearing aids, he has lost touch with his passion for music. Not only that, but the normal, every day tasks we all do and take for granted, he's unable to do those things. From his own words, he "can't enjoy life anymore" since his hearing aids have stopped working. The pair he has now have been worked on so many times that they cannot be worked on anymore. I have searched high and low for answers as to finding a way to get my dad a new set of hearing aids. But sadly, unless he's working or a child, there's no help. So that's why I'm reaching out on this site. Praying, hoping, and having faith that this will be the answer. This little bio doesn't even touch the surface of my dad's life. I could sit and talk about all he's done for hours. But the bottom line is, my dad needs to be able to hear. And it's not just for musical purposes at all. Ever thought about driving and not being able to hear if someone honks at you, if there's sirens going off close by and you need to move, or if a train is coming? What if you couldn't hear and someone is trying to get your attention by yelling at you before something happens? What about not being able to hear the voice of your grandchildren, or your children and wife? We all take this and so much more for granted every single day of our lives. I don't want this to come off as a "please have sympathy for my dad" type of thing. I want this to be where people can understand how important it is to hear, and bring attention to how there is no help for families in our situation. The hearing aids my dad needs are of the highest power and quality, costing much more than we can afford. He also has to have them at the highest setting possible, which wears them out easily over time. But if we can get him just one brand new set, that will last him 3-5 years. That may not seem like a long period of time, but it would still be a bigger help than I could ever explain. Seeing how my dad has lived with being deaf over my 27 years, it's amazing to say the least. But, seeing him function without hearing is heart breaking. Again, I'm not asking for sympathy. Just trying to say what's on my heart. I'd like to ask those of you reading this to pray before you give. If you feel led to give, please do. And if you don't feel led, pray that God will help us find a way to help my dad hear, and help other families in this same situation. Thank you!
