Ashley Spicer's family and friends are uniting to raise money for her fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Funds will be used to assist with out-of-pocket medical bills, prescriptions, and living expenses.
Ashley is a newlywed, having become married this past November. With only a few months into the marriage and just beginning her new life with her husband, John, Ashley received her diagnosis in February. She currently works as a tennis coach, but will only be able to do administrative work while undergoing chemotherapy. John also works as a tennis coach and has already taken on extra work to help cover some of the costs. However, any additional work also takes him away from being there for Ashley when she really needs someone. Any amount you donate will definitely help ease the burden.
From the moment Ashley was born, there was a sparkle in her eyes that let the world know she was something special. An avid reader since childhood, Ashley has constantly yearned for more knowledge throughout her life. She was part of the Gifted and Talented program in school, always striving for perfection (and nearly all of the time, reaching it). She started playing tennis at age 7 and immediately drew attention for her hard work and ability to be instantly taught. Her accolades in education and tennis are numerous, finally culminating in a full-ride scholarship to Syracuse University. As previously stated, Ashley is now a tennis coach herself where she is passing her wealth of knowledge on to others. Ashley will give Cancer a big double-bagel (6-0,6-0), but she needs our help financially. Let's get together and help Ashley win this all important match. Go Team Ashley!
