For Pìcaro to have urgent life saving surgery

Hi everyone, I am writing this as I’m suddenly in need of financial help and I don’t
know what else to do. 

Just when I thought 2020 couldnt get any worse, a few weeks ago my little
chinchilla soulmate Pìcaro suddenly became ill and was diagnosed with a fatal
ovarian condition called Pyometra, and some dental problems which are stopping her eating. If these problems are left untreated it means that she will sadly no
longer be with us.

I've been totally devestated because the vets have said they need to do surgery
on her within a couple of weeks, and it will come to £833. Also I will have the costs of getting her to and from the vets in taxis. It is a total shock and happened so 
quickly and during the pandemic which has left me with barely any money and no savings, that myself and my family cannot afford her vets bill.

Pìcaro is currently on antibiotics which will improve her health short term, to give her the strength to have the surgery which would need to be in a couple of weeks, if I can raise the funds.

Any of you who have met Pìcaro will know that she is a very special being, she has been my pet and my friend for 4 years now and is a huge ray of sunshine in my life, even becoming my isolation buddy all through lockdown. I am so grateful she
came into my life.

She is still really young, but she was a rescue chinchilla, and she’s already been
through so much that it breaks my heart to think of her suffering. I almost lost her this week - she lost the use of her legs and was just wasting away, it was so
upsetting to watch and be unable to do anything. But she pulled through and it
appears she wants to stay with me! 

If my friends could donate even just £5, then I would only need 180 of you to
donate, and we could save her little life. Below is a photo of how she is now, and
it's so heartbreaking to see, she means the world to me If there’s anything I
can do to save her then I want to try.
