Help rebuild Little A’s for Annabelle

On Christmas Day Sandy and Henry Nguyen lost everything. For a heartbreaking second time.

A fire, understood to be deliberately lit in an antique shop a couple of doors down, destroyed their beloved cafe "Little A's" in the heritage antique strip of Guildford, WA. 

Little A's had been the family's way of starting over following the loss of their daughter little Annabelle, who passed away from an aggressive brain tumour (DIPG) two years ago aged just 5 years old. Sandy and Henry had sold their house and everything they possibly could to fund her experimental treatment in Mexico. It is beyond tragic to think of them having to start over again so soon.

Sandy and Henry put their heart and soul into Little A's in honour of Annabelle and it very quickly established itself in the heart of the community. Every coffee they served was received with delight as it was decorated with artwork, and their food was delicious. They quickly became a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike, where everyone was made to feel welcome and many commented on the warmth of the hospitality.

The local community is reeling for all the businesses impacted by this horrific fire, but our hearts are particularly broken for Little A's and so we wanted to show them extra care and support. They have brought so much to our community and they give so generously (including to many cancer charities).

Sandy and Henry want to rebuild Little A's, but insurance will only go so far and is likely to be delayed due to the circumstances. Your donation will go directly to them to help bring Little A’s back to Guildford.

Any funds surplus to the rebuild will be donated by Sandy to a DIPG research or charity of her choice.
