Skylar's Journey

I initally set this up for Haydee to help with medical bills that are incurred during her long term treatment for stage 4 choriocarcinoma. It was in her liver, lungs, and brain. Insurance didnt pay for transportation to a cancer hospital. It cost $11,000 out of pocket. She was a new mom of a beautiful little girl who she has seen once since being in the hospital. Symptoms started when she was 9 months pregnant, but doctors brushed it off as the flu. After birth of beautiful Skylar, she only got to spend a short time with her and her daughter Faith before having to be admitted with this fast spreading cancer. On January 12, Haydee succumbed to this evil monster within her body. Donations are still needed to help Rick pay for the medical bills, Haydee's funeral, and help with the girls so he can get on his feet as a single father.
