Tom Benzon needs your help to record a new album!

Hello! This is me, Tomislav 'Tom' Benzon, you may came across my music before.. I'm playing and recording RnR, Swing, Gypsy, Rockabilly, Surf, Soul, 60's influenced music...

Now I' ve decided to record my solo album and I'm kindly asking for Your donations. Basically, after 30 years of a full time musicianship, just when things were going well, covid ruined it all! I've lost all of my recording sessions, bands, tours...Everything stopped..It was a slow death. Everything I ever loved just vanished! And as the covid chaos was comming to an end, unfortunately, I got ill and was lucky to stay alive, with my fingers getting even more rusty. Finally, Im getting back on my feet and on that stage... Long ago, it was Glastonbury and Royal Albert Hall, now we are back to bars and restaurants, little venues... But, it's a trully humbling experience and I LOVE each of this tiny gigs. I'm gratefull that I got another chance and now its down to me... I came back to London, cause thats where it all happened for me, years ago! But, every (performance) artist I know had to 'reset' and start again, that lock downs killed us in so many ways... Now, I have a killer new band and after 22 years (when my own :Tom Benzon & The Cool Shakes cd was released, I've decided to continue fighting for my own dream!! Cause, all these years, I was a guitarist or bass\ upright bassist for other artists (ie Kojoti, Congo Faith Healers, Sonny West, Jack Savoretti, Lucinda Belld and many more..) and I loved it to bits, it made me who I am and I toured half the world, got to no1 on UK charts.... but it was always someone else's dream... Now I'm here with my own brand new stuff and a feeling of this Moment(um): I got to "catch that wave" and not let go! I can't remember anything being so important for me so far!!! Your donations are for paying: studio, musicians, equpment, strings, rehearsals, new microphone, the rest of the expenses are for a photographer (photo shoot of a new 'Cool Shakes') and for a music video ! What can I say... This means the wolrd to me!!! Every penny you put towards my music counts!!
