Our dear friend David suffered a brain aneurysm rupture and stroke on Jan 28th. While his progress has been remarkable, he still has a long way to go and medical bills are mounting... Please help.
David is a loving husband and father to two young boys. On January 28th, 2014, he suffered a brain aneurism rupture, which led to a stroke and coma. This event turned the lives of this picture-perfect family upside down. While David has shown miraculous progress since that faithful day, he still has a long road ahead of him.
David has the loving support of his family and many friends - and his wonderful wife Kathleen, an elementary school teacher, has been by his side each day - fighting the good fight! The outpouring support and prayers have been wonderful, but David and Kathleen's medical bills are mounting and go beyond insurance coverage. Additionally, lost wages, travel to and from treatment, outpatient therapy, prescriptions, co-pays for appointments, and everyday financial obligations to living expenses have surely become burdensome to our friends.
The goal of this fund is to help offset these costly expenses so that the Galeas family can focus on David's recovery and their quality time together.
We all know David and Kathleen to be caring, generous, wonderful parents, and fun-loving to boot! Our lives are better for knowing them. So please, let's help David and Kathleen in their time of need. Let's all stand together for the long haul!
