Help get these 2 Bali Street puppies to England

Donation protected
Hi, We are James and Chloe from Liverpool, England.

We need some help towards saving these 2 adorable puppies in Bali from the dog meat trade. Their names are Nasi goreng and Mie goreng.

This is our story

We came to a new accommodation and these 2 adorable puppies started to chase our bike down the street.
We would stop and stroke them, and give them some food and water, and some love. They started to wait outside our accommodation for us.

We gave them somewhere safe to sleep and they started to never leave our side.

We witnessed people abuse them and kick them as they drove past. We got them collars so people would stop treating them as Street dogs.

We got them wormed and flead, and got them all their vaccinations.

We would come back from a day out and they would always be waiting at the same spot for us for hours.

We got unintentionally attached, these dogs needed us.

It was clear they both had a lot of trauma., and we will never fully know what happened to them before we met them. But all we can do now is give them a good life.

We've had them now for 3 months. We absolutely love these dogs and they love us too. They've came out of their shell so much since we've knew them. Theyre the happiest pups in the world. They are now fully domesticated and they won't go anywhere without us.

We are now on the path to take them home to England to give them a dream life. It's a long and hard process but we cannot leave them. We accidentally got ourselves into this situation but we must now fulfil our duty to these dogs.

In Bali the dog meat trade is a really big problem, as well as animal abuse. We have tried to find them homes on Facebook but every facebook group is full of people who have rescued dogs and trying to find them a home. All the shelters are over capacity and won't take any more.

We are willing to spend every last bit of money we have to save these dogs, but it is going to be very costly to get them home. We are trying every day to get an online job for additional funds.

The process is very complicated as there are a lot of steps that need to be done.

Because Bali is classed as a rabies zone. To fly them home we need to transport them to Jakarta and fly them home from there. With help from AnimalExpress, we are completing all the required steps to get them home.

They require 2 rabies vaccines, 30 days between each vaccine. 30 days after last rabies vaccine a titer test will need to be done and sent to the UK. When successful, after a 2 month waiting period we can finally bring them home.

The cost of vaccines, sterilisation, titer test (blood test to UK for rabies vaccine), microchip, cost for pet relocation company, transport to Jakarta and flights home will cost approximately £5,100 in total - just for the pet expenses.

We don't expect the full amount but anything to help towards this will be really appreciated.

Thank you so much. I have hope there are good people out there who want to help these puppies and get them home to England to give them a better life.

Here is a Google photos folder of our adorable puppies so you can see our journey with them from the very start!
