Todos lo que conocen a Rossi saben que ella es la madre entregada y amorosa de dos bellos e inquietos niños Alex (13 años) y Mike (11). A la edad de 32 años Rossi recibió una terrible noticia: Le dijeron que tenía un cáncer de mama en la etapa IV y que tan sólo le quedaban 3 meses de vida, por lo que debía poner su vida en orden. En ese entonces, Mike tenía solamente un añito. Sin saber cómo orar, Rossi hizo una oración ferviente desde lo más profundo de su corazón: Le pidió a Dios que le permitiera vivir para que sus hijos pudieran experimentar el amor incondicional de ella, para que recibieran una educación y ella pudiera instruirles los valores importantes de la vida. Dios escuchó sus oraciones: aunque recibió el diagnóstico en agosto del 2004, Rossi milagrosamente ha continuado viviendo estos 10 años. Aun los doctores no lo pueden comprender.

Por ser un cáncer agresivo, ella ha pasado por numerosas cirugías, tratamientos de quimioterapia y radiación, y por dolorosas y vergonzosas aflicciones, que la han afectado física, emocional y financieramente. Últimamente, sus hijos también han estado sufriendo al ver como Rossi se deteriora ante sus propios ojos.
Recientemente, los doctores de Rossi determinaron que su sistema inmunológico está tan débil que su cuerpo rechazó los últimos tratamientos de quimioterapia y radiación. We are asking that you take a moment to consider how you may help Rossi fight the battle of her life.
Everyone who knows Rossi knows that she is a devoted, loving mother of two beautiful, rambunctious boys, Alex (age 13) and Mike (11). At the age of 32, Rossi received horrible news: She had stage 4 breast cancer and the doctors gave her just 3 months to live and get her life in order. At the time, Mike was just 1 year old. Not knowing how to pray, Rossi made a fervent prayer to God from the bottom of her heart: She asked God to allow her to live to make sure her children could experience her unconditional love, received an education and her instructions on the important values of life. God answered her prayers: This was in August 2004 and it is a miracle that Rossi has continued to live these past 10 years. Even the doctors cannot understand it.
While indeed this has been nothing short of a miracle, the cancer has never let up. It has been aggressive, subjecting her to numerous surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and extremely painful and embarrassing afflictions, which have taken a toll on her life physically, emotionally and financially. As of late, her children have also been suffering seeing how Rossi deteriorates in their very presence.
Most recently, Rossi’s doctors determined that her immune system is so weak that her body rejected the last chemotherapy and radiation treatment. As a result, her doctors stopped the treatment and have thrown up their hands, saying that there’s nothing else they can do. Without any kind of treatment, the already-resistant cancer cells will continue to spread and cause Rossi to lose her battle for her life and for her children. But Rossi has said: "God has the last word." She has not given up hope. And neither should we.
We have found that Oasis of Hope, an alternative cancer treatment center, uses alternative therapies for cancer patients in Rossi's situation. The Oasis integrative treatment promises to strengthen Rossi’s healthy cells and immune system, so that her body can once again respond to the conventional cancer treatment to slow down tumor growth.
