Medical and Aftercare bills

On August 5th my mom, Roseanne McGuire was struck by a car while walking home from dropping off food to an elderly neighbor (Margie).   She does this for this woman because she can't cook like she used to and has a hard time around the kitchen.    She has been in the hospital since and is looking at 2-3 weeks of residential rehab and missing several months of work (we are hoping she can return at all).   She currently cannot walk or get out of bed without a nurse.   She has several non-displaced fractures in her back as well as a hairline fracture of her knee.   She has bruising over 40% of her body.   She owns a small dog grooming business, Canine Cottage and has had to cancel all of her appointments indefinitely.    She has no real medical insurance.   She also has 3 dogs which must be cared for while she is away.    While she may recieve some money from the accident, we are being told it could be 6 months to a year for that and in the mean time of course her bills are piling up and there are no guarantees.  The funds being asked for here would go to cover her basic bills that her job would normally account for, the care of her 3 dogs as well as some of the initial hospital and rehab bills.   Every little bit helps.   No donation is too small.
