Ella es Mirtha, una mujer muy alegre, que siempre está cantando canciones y bailando cuando escucha cualquier tipo de música, antigua enfermera.  Le gusta estar rodeada de toda su familia y reírse de nuestros chistes. Es madre de 4, abuela de 3 hermosas niñas y una esposa amorosa.

En julio de este año, por presencia de sangre en heces, fue referida a un especialista, quien le realizó un estudio de Colon, donde observó un tumor y le tomó una biopsia cuyo resultado fue cáncer. Los Oncólogos han realizado más estudios de todo el cuerpo, indicándole una intervención quirúrgica para remover el tumory seguir otros tratamientos.

Al principio los doctores pensaron que era mejor iniciar un tratamiento de radioterapia primero, para luego pasar a quimioterapia y por último una operación donde removerían el tumor. Pero ahora, viendo el tamaño del tumor, han decidido iniciar removiendo el mismo, para luego empezar el proceso de recuperación.

Nuestra familia y amigos se han unido a ella dispuestos a pelear esta batalla a su lado. Es por ello por lo que cada granito de arena será humildemente aceptado y nuestro agradecimiento será eterno.

This is Mirtha, she is a Grandma, Mom, loving wife, and a former nurse. She’s a very happy person who is always singing and dancing whenever she gets the chance. She loves to be surrounded by her family and friends and she always laughs at the worst jokes.

July of this year, due to the presence of blood in the stool, she was referred to a specialist. The Oncologists have carried out more studies of the whole body, indicating a surgical intervention to remove the tumor and follow other treatments.

At first the doctors thought that it was better to start a radiation therapy treatment, then go to chemotherapy, and finally an operation where they would remove the tumor. Although, now seeing the type of the tumor, they have decided to remove it and then start the recovery process.
