Mike Groh, the man that everyone knows and loves!
Mike is unaware of this go fund me page in support of himself and his family; to go on what some might believe is a small trip, but to them, would be a memory made to last a lifetime. Mike; a close family member and good friend to many, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in the late summer. Since being diagnosed, the cancer has quickly traveled to his lungs and liver as well, making life very difficult for Mike. Mike is now unable to work and enjoy the things he loves.
After his diagnoses Mike's family inquired about Mike's bucket list, asking Mike if there was anything special he would like to do. Mike was unsure at the time; however, stated that he just wants to spend time with his family and friends.
A few nights ago Mike was speaking with his mother and mentioned that he would really like to take his four children to TORONTO , to a hotel and enjoy the city together as a family. I would be overjoyed to see this happen for Mike. Mike is such a selfless, well deserving, special person and we hold him very dear to our hearts. At family gatherings, Mike is always the one making everyone laugh and found playing with all of the kids.
Any money raised from this go fund me page will be put towards what could be the final trip with Mike and his children. Any money left over after the trip will assist with Mike's medication, treatment, hospital trips and any other needs moving forward.
As a community, we could come together to assist in making memories that will last a lifetime for Mike's children! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
