Help Jacki Move to Haiti

For the last four years, my heart has been intentionally invested in the people of Haiti. From week long trips, to summer extended stays, I have gained a deeper love for Haitian people and for seeing Jesus be known throughout this nation. I just returned home from a trip where I got to be apart of the work I'm ME is doing ( Click here for more info ). I have accepted a position with them for this coming fall (starting in October). Recently, I'm ME took in nine orphan children who were living in horrible conditions and are nursing them back to help. In my time in Haiti, I will get the oppurtunity to continue to invest in these nine children's lives as well as visiting in the surrounding community and gaining relationships with the families there. Starting in January, I'm ME will be launching their after school program and the kids in the communities that I have the oppurtunity to get to know will be those attending the program. There is such a deep need for creativity and vision to come alive in the young people of Haiti. We exist to help those children find their identity in Christ as well as do what they love. We will offer things such as music, dance, artisan crafting and art classes through our after school program. This will also be a way to connect families together in the local community and to build up parent-child relationships in each home. I am so excited about joining this team of individuals who exist to love others well and make sure every child is heard. I am humbled to be going back for a longer term and can't wait to see what Jesus does in my time there. Please consider being apart of what God is doing in Haiti..
