Help Diane In Her Fight With Cancer

Diane is an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and most of all friend to all. She's a woman with great knowledge, strength, compassion, and especially has a love for life. She is the glue that holds our family together. She is the woman that everyone turns to for help and advice, always the voice of reason. She is always there to share in your good times and be on your side to help you through bad times. Now this incredible woman needs your help.
A little less than 3 years ago Diane was in paradise with our family celebrating her goddaughters wedding. As she was getting ready in her hotel room she found a lump. She enjoyed the rest of that beautiful day and family vacation all the while keeping this horrible discovery to herself in true “Diane” fashion so as not to worry anyone. She went home and made a doctors appointment and was ultimately diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer called triple negative.
Although she acted on it right away, the prognosis was not good seeing that it is a rare and aggressive type of cancer. She started chemo immediately, had surgery, and radiation. Through it all she somehow stayed extremely positive. If you know Diane you know she is a fighter. Complications arose and she was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that made treating her cancer that much more difficult. These past few years she has been in the fight for her life. After a brief stint in remission, it was found that her cancer had metastasized. On top of that, her body began rejecting her breast implants. Skipping forward through enormous amounts of different treatments, medications, surgeries, diet's, vitamins, supplements, and doctor's appointments that included traveling down to the National Institute of Health in Washington DC so she could let them study her autoimmune disease for the sake of future patients, her cancer continues to metastasize throughout her body. The chemo is killing her faster than the cancer actually is. She has been through numerous chemo drugs with very little benefit and the new immunotherapies are not an option due to her autoimmune disease. She is nearly out of options but refuses to quit!
What we are asking from all of you that love her is to please make a small donation so we can get her down to a treatment facility in San Diego and Mexico. They have amazing pinpoint treatments already being used in Europe including Germany and feel they can help her be free from the daily pain and at the very least give her the quality of life that chemo can’t.
Right now our focus is to help Diane with travel and medical expenses. Her insurance will not cover any costs and the treatments are expensive. She will initially need to stay for 3 weeks. She will then have tests to determine if those treatments are helping and her stay may be extended.
