Need help making rent

Earlier this month, I shared some personal aspects of my life regarding gambling addiction. The aftermath has had a grave effect on my wife and I’s relationship. Unfortunately, she has decided to move on, and this will be presenting a major financial challenge to me. I am reaching out because despite my continued recovery, I am going to fall short of making my July rent due on Monday 7/1. While I do have some money to cover part of the rent, the rest of my money is earmarked towards other debts that I intend on clearing/keeping good standing. I also have car repairs (brakes, tie rods, tires) that need to be addressed by the end of July in order for it to pass inspection.

I have met with a financial advisor who will be helping me better manage my income and outstanding debts, and am seeking a part time job to supplement my full time position. However, it does not help me as far as Monday is concerned. Therefore, I am humbling myself to going the GoFundMe route.

I will post updates as to where any earned money has gone, so that nobody gets the sense that they have been taken advantage of. While I dug the hole that I’m stuck in, I’m hoping that I can get some short term help.
